Greenhouse Gases calculation from computers on a Company
This gramework template helps organizations to calculate their greenhouse emitions from the intensive use of computers at both headquarters and remote working.

With this tools, managers can improve their knowledge about greenhouse emissions when they are computer-focused services that is not that easy to digest.

If you find any improvements or add-ons on the template, please spend some time on a comment so I can do a better job for you guys.
Process to make this tools possible
This tool is made from years of experience and weeks of understanding better the consumption margins of energy on service-based companies, where digital assets value are higher than packing and production assets value.

Understand and list all the different types of energy

When trying to calculate the energy spent from a computer on an hour, day or year basis, it is important to understand 3 main factors:

Energy network: Which energy networks and types are playing in by country? How are percentages distributed each kind of energy?

Energy consumption by type of hardware: is not the same using a laptop than using a PC. In that case, we needed to understand and calculate averages between several models and energy consumptions types available on the global market.

Calculations on the formula matrix: this formulas are made specially for this template, and to find out how to calculate it, we needed to interview and learn from energy experts.

Make some clear analogies: ok, you found out that your company is consumig about 3,000 Kwh/year, wow!. But wait a minute... WT* does it means? Well, we have that cover, so we spend some time on understanding how much GHG would your company be producing, compared to average houses, so that you can have a roughly estimate of how much is your company doing compared to this values.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please! Do have in mind that this template is made only for calculations on Colombia, based on energy network efficiency on this particular country.
